North of the Gulf of Aqaba, East of the Sinai Peninsula and just on the border of Eilat, Israel lies the beach town of Taba.
Taba is farthest up north among all of Egypt’s Red Sea Riviera boutique resorts. Taba is known to have blue waters and has quite several posh hotels and resorts. Like Sharm El-Sharm, Taba offers scuba diving and other delightful water and sea activities.
During the late 80'th, the areas surrounding the cheeky town of Taba were declared to be protected areas under the jurisdiction of the Sinai. The land mostly transferred to Sinai has land features like caves, valleys and mountain passes and is also home to some rare mammals and reptiles.
